If you were expecting to find the old Ancient Egypt Portal here, you are in the right place but I have deleted the site - it was horrifically out of date and I don’t have the time to revise it or keep it updated. If you wanted any of the links that were on those pages I can probably email them to you (I saved some of the pages to my hard drive) Instead, I have converted the site into something that is intended to help me to progress with my efforts to learn hieroglyphs, and (perhaps more challenging) to remember what I’ve already learned. I am a member of the GlyphyStudy group, and this site inevitably reflects, or will do, much of our activities over there (with serious thanks to our moderators Karen and Bob and all those who contributed resources to the GlyphStudy group website). Please let me know of any new links that would be of use to people learning hieroglyphs - and I am very open for suggestions about how to change the site for the better.
